so even wordpress is creating new UIs for the iPAD (even if the iOS is not really unique-yet-grumble grumble).
But now even I am beginning to see the value of the iPAD to the point of even purchasing one–is there a stand to use it with Unity 3D games? And a webcam for augmented reality interaction?
And a stylus to use as a secondary monitor for collaborative sketch applications? Now that would be useful. As well as a less fragile look.

Qualcomm is making plans to release their SDK this Fall, to improve Augmented Reality games in the Android Market. Mattell has created the popular Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em game that utilizes Augmented Reality as a proof of concept , and Unity is hopping on the wagon as soon as this SDK is released.
what are the costs?
I am sure there are other tools out there. Interestingly the Torque 3D is cheaper than Torque 2D, and there is no Linux version (yet?)..

I imagine there should also be a list of tools for Google’s Android Operating System..(“3D libraries – an implementation based on OpenGL ES 1.0 APIs; the libraries use either hardware 3D acceleration (where available) or the included, highly optimized 3D software rasterizer”)..
